Hurlburt Field Sound of Independence

Fourth of July celebration, Friday, June 27 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the base marina.

The celebration provides a setting for Air Force families to gather and enjoy the patriotic festivities.

The planned events include a cardboard boat regatta at 7 p.m. and fireworks at the end of the evening. The cardboard regatta is a race of boats constructed by teams using only basic cardboard and tape as materials.

Sound of Independence is a family event for DoD-card holders and their guests with music, games and food available for purchase. There will be a patriotic display including Presentation of Colors and the national anthem.

4th of July Celebration Fort Walton Beach

Come spend the 4th of July at the Fort Walton Beach Landing, Brooks Street, Fort Walton Beach on Friday, July 4th, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and enjoy food and exhibitor booths.

The event will also include live music, entertainment and children’s activities. The evening will conclude with a breathtaking fireworks display at approximately 8:45 p.m.

The City of Fort Walton Beach is now accepting vendor/exhibitor applications for the 4th of July Celebration event. Applications may be obtained by clicking here or by calling 850.833.9575 or via email at [email protected].

City of Destin

The City of Destin’s annual Independence Day Fireworks Show will be held on Friday, July 4, near Destin Harbor over the waters of East Pass beginning at 9 p.m. Turn your radio to our sister station Z96 (96.5 FM) during the show to hear the musical accompaniment.

Thursday, July 3rd. Smoke on the Water Fireworks and BBQ Festival. Fun for the whole family will include free face painting, kid’s activities, street performers, and continuous live bands performing on two stages and BBQ and fireworks.

4th of July Extravaganza on the Harbor HarborWalk Village

Celebrate America's freedom July 3rd through July 5th. Spirits will soar and flag will wave as the July 4th festivities kick off on Thursday with the Red, White and Blue Celebration honoring Tom Rice. On Friday, let freedom ring with the glamorous Victory Belles as they revive the WWII era in their throwback tailored dresses, coiffed curls and bright red lipstick singing 1940s classics. The patriotic salute will continue with fireworks lighting up the sky in red, white, and blue at 9PM! Gypsy Riot will keep the celebration rocking Saturday night for a FREE concert on the Destin Harbor!

Twin Cities (Niceville and Valparaiso)

The 2014 July 4 fireworks show in Niceville will be held on Friday, July 4, 2014. The hugely popular annual fireworks show will begin at dusk.

Pre-show music will begin around 8 p.m. Fireworks will be launched over Boggy Bayou from a barge located between Lincoln Park in Valparaiso and Lions Park in Niceville.

The spectacular fireworks display is one of the largest in the area. More than a ton of fireworks will be fired. The best places for public viewing of the annual fireworks show are Lincoln Park in Valparaiso, and Lions Park and the Turkey Creek area in Niceville.

The annual fireworks show is funded by donations, t-shirt sales, aluminum can recycling, pork butt sales and the Fireworks Trust Fund.

DeFuniak Springs

25th Annual 4th of July Celebration "Celebrating 200 Years of the Star Spangled Banner" at The Lakeyard. Parade at 4:30pm. Opening cermonies at 6pm. Live emtertainment. Fireworks will begin after dark.

The City of DeFuniak Springs would like to notify our citizens that Circle Drive will be closed to traffic for the Fourth of July parade at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014. One-way traffic will be established on Circle Drive following the parade with entry from Live Oak Avenue only and exit on 7th Street. This restriction will be in effect until the conclusion of the Fourth of July festivities.

South Walton 4th of July Parade

Join the fun at the Annual Independence Day parade along 30A, starting in Seagrove and ending in the Seaside Amphitheater.

Grayton Beach 4th of July Parade

July 4th – 8:30am

Come join in the fun for the traditional July 4th parade in the wonderful and funky town of Grayton Beach. Line up at the Red Bar starts at 8:00am, with the parade starting at 8:30am. Decorate your cars, jeeps, boats, bikes, scooters, etc.  Everyone is welcome! The parade will end at Grayton Coast Properties for watermelon and lemonade.

 

Red, White, and Baytowne

July 4th – 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Join Sandestin for its spectacular 4th of July Celebration. Enjoy a day of fun in the sun, an evening that lights up the sky and family activities. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will have a host of kids activities from 7-10pm, including kids crafts, face painting, and balloon sculpting. Live music will be performed from 7-9pm. 4th of July Concert at Alys Beach

July 4th – 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Celebrate the 4th of July with live music featuring The Atlanta Allstars from 6-9pm, followed by fireworks. Bring blankets and low back chairs and enjoy an evening on the amphitheater lawn. Piper’s will offer food and beverage. Free and open to the public.

July 4th – 9:00pm
